Visa: CVV2 - Creditcard Verification Value
Mastercard: CVC2

The CVV2 code (Visa: CVV2 - Creditcard Verification Value, Mastercard: CVC2) is a special 3 digit code printed on the back of your Credit Card, directly after the Credit Card Number.

Note: The CVN code is printed on your card; it is not raised from the surface of your card like your credit card's account number.

This code is not stored anywhere and does not get printed on receipts. Because of this it is a security enhancment against misuse of Credit Cards.

(Yes yes, I don't see the use of it either...)

American Express Cards have a code of 4 digits - and it is printed on the front, on the right side.

For your online safety and security, we require that you enter your credit or debit card's verification number (CVV) before we can process your payment.

As shown below, the Card Verification Number (CVV) is the last three digit number printed on the signature panel located on the back of your card.

The CVV is a security feature that allows KD85.com bvba and your credit card issuer to identify you as the cardholder and provide you with additional security against fraud.
